Cats vs gravity
They are trying to find out if cats are cleaver as people say or are they as dart as the rest of us.
The cats have a high jump from the power and strength in there back lags and a low body weight in there back end , they can jump 6 times there own height and then when it comes to us we lack grace. The cats have such a high leap because of evaluation and creating kinetic energy for the jump. When they prepare to jump they take a crouched position like a coiled spring and then allows them to use the strength in there back legs to push them upwards and on landing they grab with there back legs and hook in with there claws to pull them up.

ReplyDeleteWow, Sophie you have some great facts in here. I have a cat called Patches and I didn’t know half of that. But I do agree compared to a cat we humans certainly are lacking in grace.
ReplyDeleteI was interested in your first sentence - who is trying to find out if cats are as clever as people or as (check your spelling) I think you mean ‘daft’ as the rest of us?
